We are very pleased to announce that January 2023 sees the first NW Live Arts consultancy looking at how we develop our collaborative creative workshops with different communities.
Musicians including our Patron, Kuljit Bhamra MBE, tabla, Dr Hyelim Kim, taegum (Korean flute), Henrietta Hill, viola are coming together with storytelling facilitators, Eileen Egerton and Callum Rhys-Williams to work with us to consider how we should build on the models of creative workshops we have delivered over the past 4 years.
The culmination of this consultancy is a free creative storytelling and music workshop looking at the impact of climate change led by our Artistic team. This is open to all but centrally is designed for participants who have worked with us in the past who we have invited back to share not only their feeling and thoughts about climate change but to contribute their ideas on how we should run the workshops.
Following the consultancy, we will be reporting on what happened… watch this space!
