We bring music to neighbourhood venues

NW Live Arts is a charity producing concerts of professional classical and world music in community venues in North West London and beyond.

Established in November 2018, we believe everyone should be able to experience a live classical music event. Our vision is to share live music with a wide audience and for the arts to have a positive impact on our communities.

At NW Live Arts, we create stimulating live classical and world music performances to inspire new musical encounters, fight preconceptions, and build lifelong relationships with  music and the arts  in local communities.

Belonging - Music & Place 2021

Join NW Live Arts for our first live concert of 2021 as we explore identity and our sense of place in the world. This imaginative programme features an unusual combination of instruments performing contemporary music to familiar and less familiar classical music, middle eastern music as well as improvisations and a new piece for this unique ensemble. Interwoven with the music are readings from Write to Life, the acclaimed writing and performance group from Freedom from Torture. Together with the musicians they celebrate the distinctive nature of each individual contribution, and the special magic that happens when many traditions come together

7.30pm Friday 21 May 2021
Salvation Army Hall, 10-16 Haverstock Hill, NW3 2BL

Dig out your crayons, paints and cameras, and inspire our musicians!

We asked for creative responses to the theme of 'belonging' and and were overwhelmed with the drawings, paintings and photos sent to us showing what ‘belonging’ means to you.
